In the dark I sit,

I seek through the mist,

A shape renown,

A shape I fouled.

It is not me, who threatens thee,

Or so I thought, as her scarlet eyes bleached through me,

Or so I thought - is it just my fantasy?

Her shadow appears after setting sun,

A vague shape to whom I used to run.

Eyes closed - she knows how to haunt me best,

A Night’s kiss, leaving me no rest.

I shall follow thee,

My beautiful illusionary!

Eye scarlet red starring at me,

Through the void of eternity,

I see you! I see you!

.. I can’t reach you ..

My forever dreaming mystery.
